She was born on July 22, 1927 in Cullman to Marvin Elrod and Ada Townson Elrod. Visitation will be on Saturday from 6-9Pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2PM at Addison Church of God. She will lie in state from 1-2PM. Brother Samuel Parker and Brother Bucky Rizzo will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Special thanks to Dolly Handley and Southern Care Hospice.
