Timothy Paul Rutherford

Timothy Paul Rutherford, 60 of Danville, passed away on August 8, 2017 in Cullman. Tim was born on October 4, 1956 in Moulton, Alabama. He attended Hatton School and attended  Mt. Vernon FCM Church.  Tim installed Blue Dolphin Pools for 38 years and was a machinist for 6 years.  He enjoyed drag racing, auto body, mechanics and especially playing with his grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 6-8pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00pm at Mt. Vernon FCM Church.  Brother Glenn McCain will officiate.  Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.  He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Karen Vaughn Rutherford; sons, Christopher (Sonya) Rutherford, Patrick (Donna) Rutherford, Brian (Amanda) Willingham, Bruce (Leslie) Willingham and Barry (Dana) Willingham; sister, Ada Jo Harris; and he was Paw Paw to 7 grandchildren, Braden Willingham, Taylor Willingham, Garrett Willingham, A.J. Willingham, Jace Willingham, Katelyn Makemson and Jessica Rutherford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulyess and Gladys Dotson Rutherford; grandsons, Holden Rutherford and Zachery Rutherford; brothers, Kenneth, Mack, Buddy, Harold, Randy and Ricky; and sisters, Diane Sayre, Rachel Wilbanks and Rebecca Waldrep.In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Mt.
