Roger Dale Marks

Roger Dale Marks, 67, of Logan, entered into rest on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.He was born on January 27, 1950 in Cullman. Roger graduated from Meek High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy for 10 years as a lab tech, some of which was during the Vietnam War. He worked in the construction business after he left the Navy.Visitation will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 6-8pm at Nichols Funeral Home, Addison. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in the Mt. Zion Community at 1pm.  He will lie in state from 12-1pm. Brother Shannon Caudle will officiate.  Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.Roger is survived by his son, Rodney Marks; daughters, Angela DeBoer, and Angie Yarbrough; mother, Arvie Lee Marks-Smith, brothers, Marty Dean Marks, Phillip Marks and his wife Carey, and Hugh Michael Marks and his wife Becky; sister, Kathy Caudle and her husband Jackie.He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Lee Marks; and brother, Larry Lee Marks.
