Lillie Gwen Baker, 68 of Haleyville passed away on August 9, 2017 in Florence.  She was born on November 14, 1948 in Haleyville. Gwen graduated from Winston County High School, and loved taking care of her grandbabies; they were her life.  Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 6-8pm at Nichols Funeral Home where service will be held on Saturday at 2:00pm. Burial will be at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.  She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Buckey Baker; sons, Danny Young, Terry Young, James (Tina) Baker, Justin (Medina) Baker and Buckey Ray Taylor; daughter, Cassie (Chris) Garrison; brothers, Dale Bonds, Dennis (Jeannie) Bonds and David Bonds; sister, Patsy (Johnny) Bailey; she was Grandma to 15 grandchildren, Steven, Bradley, Bonita, Amber, Zack, Trent, Brianna, Sky, Kody, Corey, Keisha, Buckey, Rickey, Daniel and Dalton; and 2 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Authony and Irene Bonds; sons, Buckey Ray Baker Jr. and Jonathan Baker.
