Ada Joyce Patton

Ada Joyce Patton, 83, of Double Springs, entered into rest on January 25, 2018 at her home.

Joyce was born on December 18, 1934, in Cordova, Alabama. She was a longtime member of Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 1pm-2pm at Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Black Pond Community, where a memorial service will be held at 2pm. Brother Mickey Millican will officiate.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Gary Stanley, David (Sandra) Patton; daughters, Charlotte (Randy) Adair, Patty Patton Sides; brothers, Terry Vines, J.C. (Nona) Vines; sister, Linda Kilgore; she was “Maw Maw” to 5 grandchildren, Bubba, Melinda, Latasha, Joshua, Tara; great grandchildren, Bryant, Destini, Brennen, Andrew, Austin, Marley, and Abbey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald David Patton; parents, Harry and Nancy Vines.
