Jeremy Todd Hood, 36, of Houston passed away on December 7, 2017 at his home. Todd was born on July 28, 1981 in Haleyville. He graduated from Winston County High School in 2000 and went on to work for Wilkins Mobile Home Builders as an electrician and Grayson Lumber. Todd attended church at the Refreshment Center in Houston, Alabama. He loved painting, writing songs, playing music, singing, astronomy, studying the supernatural world, studying the Bible, making jewelry, hunting arrowheads and especially spending time with his son. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at New Home Baptist Church starting at 6:00pm, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00pm. Brother Johnnie Ayers will officiate. Burial will be in Moreland Community Cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Margie Hood; son, Landon Kade Hood; brother, Jamie Hood; sisters, Kelly (Mike) Lively, Tina Winkles and Shelly (Jim) Standridge; nephews, Randy Hood, Nick Hood, Austin Winkles, Weston Hood, Raylan Hood and Corey Lively; and nieces, Shay Williams, Amanda Winkles, Markie Standridge and Chloe Lively. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Hood; brother, Billy Joe Hood Jr.; and brother in law, Lowell Winkles.
