Arquilla Bozeman, 93, of Haleyville, entered into rest on May 15, 2018 at Haleyville Healthcare.
Mrs. Bozeman was born on October 5, 1924, in Hackleburg, Alabama. Arquilla gained the nickname of "Quid" from her younger brother who just could not say her name, later some called her "Aunt Quid". She attended Littleville Methodist Church for numerous years. Arquilla was considered an adopted grandparent to the students at Haleyville Elementary School. During her free time she enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 11am-12pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 12pm. Brother Jeff Burleson will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery in Hackleburg.
Arquilla is survived by her son, Jack Reynolds and his wife Judy; daughters, Paula Berry, Phyllis Cunningham; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; sister, Gurthy Burleson; a host of nieces and nephews, and special friends, George Kurto, and Brenda Sauls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Paul Bozeman; son, Claude Kennedy Bozeman; daughter, Kay Falkner; great grandson, Anderson Kay; parents, Andrew and Matilda Kennedy; and 14 brothers and sisters.
