Denver Lincoln Garrison, 77 of Haleyville, entered into rest on March 11, 2012 in Double Springs.

He was born on August 3, 1934 in Haleyville. He loved working on old cars and anything having to do with being outdoors. He was known to many friends and family as "Dank".

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville from 6-9pm, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 2pm. Burial will be in Frost Cemetery. Reverend Thad Hawkins will officiate.

He is survived by his daughter, Janet (Darrick) Cagle; sister, Martha Collins; he was "Paw-Paw" to 5 Grandchildren, Selina Garrison (Joe) Moon , Brandon Cagle, Shawn Cagle, Jaydon Cagle, and Dylan Cagle; 3 great grandchildren, Chandler Moon, Emerald Moon, and Carter Moon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Garrison; parents, Silas and Delia Garrison; brothers, Amon Garrison, Cecil Garrison, and John Garrison; sons, Ronnie Garrison, and Denver Garrison.
